_{So these little guys are "Pari Fairies", a species native to Alderann. They're considered a lucky omen in Alderann - to see one is supposedly a blessing. They're very shy creatures, and are very rarely seen by other species.

Pari Fairies are roughly the size of a dinner plate, and have flat bodies that drift slowly along. Paries have magical powers, the most common one being 'Incorpereality' - an ability that allows them to wink out of sight if they ever sense something foreign approaching. Pari magic can range from rather weak to incredibly strong, depending on the individual Pari - males are usually stronger, magic-wise, though females often have more diverse abilities.

Paries are found in the thick Silverwood forests where they live in trees and eat small mites and insects. Paries are homing creatures, in that they will spend their lives in the tree they were born in, unless tempted away by a human or horse.

Though Paries generally avoid other creatures like the plague, every now and then a traveller may find himself with a Pari guardian. This is because Paries are by nature very protective of those they deem endangered, and will often shadow a weary or lost traveller. Even more rarely, the Pari guardian may choose to stay with their favoured person, at which point that person/creature will become the focus of their homing instinct.}

To adopt one, simply draw an image of your horse meeting the Pari of your choice. 1 per person, max.
